{:en}Monday, 17 February 2020 The Institute of Tropical Diseases Airlangga University received a visit from Rajwali College of Health Sciences (STIK) Bandung. The visit was from a lecturer team of 6 people and more than 100 students.
This event was opened by Prof. Achmad Fuad Hafid as the Secretary of the Institute of Tropical Diseases, he advised that this visit could be useful and could motivate to get involved in the world of research in the world of health especially, especially recently the coronavirus has become a trending topic in the world.
After the remarks, there was a video display of the Institute of Tropical Diseases which would then be visited directly by several laboratories of the Tropical Disease Institute, such as the Leprosy, Human Genetic, SATREPS Laboratory and so on guided by Moh. Qushai
They were allowed to ask questions related to the activities, scientific methods used and see firsthand the researchers doing research there. Kunjungan tersebut dari tim dosen 6 orang dan 100 lebih mahasiswa.
Acara ini dibuka oleh Prof. Achmad Fuad Hafid selaku Sekretaris Lembaga Penyakit Tropis, beliau berpesan agar kunjungan ini bisa bermanfaat serta bisa memotivasi untuk terjun dalam dunia penilitian di dunia kesehatan terutama, apalagi baru-baru ini ada virus corona yang menjadi trending topik didunia.
Setelah sambutan, ada penayangan vidio profile Lembaga Penyakit Tropis yang selanjutnya akan dilakukan kunjungan langsung ke beberapa lab Lembaga Penyakit Tropis, seperti Laboratorium Leprosy, Human Genetic, SATREPS dan sebagainya yang dipandu oleh Moh. Qushai.
Mereka diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya terkait aktivitas, metode ilmu yang digunakan serta melihat secara langsung peneliti yang melakukan riset disana. Selanjutnya, pada akhir kunjungan ada sesi penukaran cinderamata dan foto bersama.{:}
