Introduction
– Focus of Activity: To design and develop vaccine technology
– Ongoing Activities: Completed laboratory analysis (PRNT) for the third phase clinical trial (Inavac)
– Future Concepts: Develop 2nd generation vaccine technology for COVID-19 and vaccine models for several types of infectious diseases (zoonoses)
– Achievements: Produce products in the form of vaccines that have competitive and productive value by developing various approaches to vaccine technology. This can be achieved in the short and medium term with the triple- and penta helix concepts with genomic, proteomic, and bioinformatic approaches, so that acceleration can be carried out based on concepts developed to achieve short-term and long-term results in accordance with national and global needs. Thus, the vaccine center can support universities to contribute solutions to solve the problem of infectious diseases in the world.
